The BAY TRUST PUMP ROOM
The perfect venue for exclusive cocktail functions and select evening and breakfast dining.
Likened to the ballrooms of old, The Pump Room has two levels - the lower foyer (ground floor) and the mezzanine floor - overlooking the picturesque Government Gardens.
The original Elizabethan styling has been retained, including high ceilings, detailed plaster mouldings, and finely crafted native timer fixtures and joinery.
Additionally, The Pump Room has outstanding acoustics and naturally comes to life with vocal or instrumental entertainment.
Suitable for intimate and extensive functions, The Pump Room will comfortably accommodate up to 300 people. |

The VIEWING PLATFORM
Literally top level, the open-air Viewing Platform allows guests to enjoy panoramic views of the Government Gardens, Lake Rotorua and more.
Available for exclusive cocktail functions, breakfasts or dinners and can accommodate up to 30 people.

Delightfully quaint, The Verandah is private and cool in the heat of summer and lends itself to long balmy evenings of stylish conviviality.
Take a step back in time and meander through the Museum's early 1900 spa exhibitions and experience the story of The Great South Seas Spa - as the Bath House was once known.

To compliment the range of exclusive venues offered, guided tours are available on request. This includes tours of the new Don Stafford Wing - an extensive $22 million upgrade that houses the stunning exhibition Nga Pumanawa o Te Arawa - The Beating Hearts of Te Arawa.
